Terms of Service

Effective date: July 4, 2026

In plain English: This is a self-paced digital course. When you buy it you get the coursebook and, after you complete it and attest, an 18-CEU certificate. The material is the protected property of Joe A. Flores and the Joe A. Flores Law Firm and is for your personal use only, all sales are final, and the course is education — not legal advice. Please read the full terms below.

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and United Legal Nurse Consultants, LLC ("we," "us," "our"), operator of this website and the course sold here (the "Course"). By purchasing, accessing, or using the Course or this website, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Course.

2. Who we are

The Course is offered by United Legal Nurse Consultants, LLC. You can reach us at info@floreslawfirm.com or 361-887-8670.

3. The Course and continuing-education credit

The Course is "The LNC Coursebook," a self-paced digital coursebook designed to teach registered nurses and other licensed clinicians the fundamentals of legal nurse consulting. Upon your attestation of completion (Section 7), we issue a certificate reflecting 18.0 continuing-education contact hours (CEUs) as described on the site. You are responsible for confirming that your own state board or licensing body will accept these CEUs. We make no guarantee that any particular board, employer, or organization will accept or recognize the certificate.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate registration information. The Course is intended for licensed or aspiring nursing professionals.

5. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login and for all activity under your account. One account is for one individual; accounts and Course access may not be shared. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

6. Intellectual property

All coursebook content, the certificate, text, graphics, teaching methods, and all other course materials (collectively, the "Materials") are the sole and exclusive property of Joe A. Flores and the Joe A. Flores Law Firm, and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, trade-secret, and other intellectual-property laws. On purchase, you receive only a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, and revocable license to access and use the Materials for your own education. You may not copy, reproduce, share, distribute, resell, sublicense, publicly post, create derivative works from, or use the Materials to train any model or system. Downloaded copies may be watermarked to your account.

Any infringement or unauthorized use of the Materials will result in liquidated damages of [amount to be set — e.g., $X per infringing act], as a reasonable pre-estimate of the harm caused, together with all remedies available in equity and at law, including injunctive relief and civil and criminal proceedings. Your license terminates automatically upon any breach of this Section, without refund.

7. Certificates and attestation

The certificate is issued based on your honest attestation that you have completed the full coursebook. Submitting a false attestation is a material breach of these Terms and voids the certificate. We maintain a verification registry so third parties can confirm a certificate's validity by its ID.

8. Payment, pricing, and refunds

Prices are shown on the site and are subject to change; the price in effect at purchase applies. Payments are processed by third-party providers (for example Stripe or PayPal) and, where offered, buy-now-pay-later services (for example Klarna or Afterpay), each under its own terms. All sales are final and no refunds are provided once you access the Course materials, because the Course is a digital product that delivers CEUs you keep. We offer a free introductory chapter so you can evaluate the Course before purchase. Chargebacks filed in bad faith after materials are accessed may be contested with proof of delivery.

9. Educational disclaimer — not legal or professional advice

The Course is for educational purposes only. It does not create an attorney–client relationship, is not legal, medical, or professional advice, and should not be relied upon as such. We make no guarantee of any income, clients, employment, business results, or professional outcome. Your results depend on your own effort, market, and circumstances.

10. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to misuse the website or Course, including attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with the service, scraping, or infringing our or others' rights.

11. Non-disparagement

You agree not to publish or make any false, misleading, or defamatory statement about Joe A. Flores, the Joe A. Flores Law Firm, United Legal Nurse Consultants, LLC, the Course, or their products, services, or reputation. Nothing in this Section restricts your right to share a truthful review of your honest experience, which is protected by law (including the federal Consumer Review Fairness Act). We may seek injunctive relief and damages for statements that are false, misleading, or defamatory.

12. Disclaimers

The website and Course are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, United Legal Nurse Consultants, LLC and its owners, instructors, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Course will not exceed the amount you paid for it.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless United Legal Nurse Consultants, LLC, Joe A. Flores, and the Joe A. Flores Law Firm from claims arising out of your use of the Course or your breach of these Terms.

15. Governing law, arbitration, and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Course will be resolved exclusively by final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The exclusive venue for the arbitration and for any judicial proceeding permitted under these Terms (including to compel arbitration, enforce an award, or seek injunctive relief) is Nueces County, Corpus Christi, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those forums. The arbitrator's award is final and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. You and United Legal Nurse Consultants, LLC each waive the right to a trial by jury and waive any right to bring or participate in a class, collective, or representative action; disputes must be brought only in your individual capacity. If any portion of this Section is held unenforceable, the remainder will continue to apply.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" above shows the latest version; continued use after changes means you accept them.
